Our Story
Living with chronic conditions like Lyme Disease and Mold Illness can be a daily battle — one that can leave you feeling hopeless and alone. You may have been misdiagnosed, underdiagnosed, or told that everything is fine when it's not. You may have felt trapped in your own body, struggling to focus, remember, and keep up with daily tasks.
That's where my team and I come in. As a medical professional, I understand the struggles you're facing because I've been there myself. I know the relief of finally finding answers and the reasons behind my chronic pain and suffering. I've used my knowledge and experience to help myself and others find relief from the symptoms caused by Lyme Disease and Mold Illness — and to help regain control of their lives.
I have built my team very carefully, with each person selected because of their area of expertise, but also because of their ability to deeply understand long-term chronic disease. Unlike conventional medicine, our focus is on finding the root causes of your symptoms and treating the whole body — including the mind. We use cutting-edge functional medicine techniques, supplement protocols, and meditation to help you find relief.
We know that healing from something that has dragged you down for so long is an incredible feeling. It's time for you to start feeling like yourself again.
"It is not your fault that you are in pain. It is not all in your mind. You are not failing. Your pain is valid. Your suffering is valid. And… you also have the ability to heal and feel better."

MD — Lyme and Mold Literate Medical Doctor
Our Medical Doctor
Hi! I am Dr. Gina. I am a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor and have been working with Dr. Diane for about 7 years now. I am functional medicine trained and bring the top strategies of both conventional and functional treatment for Lyme Disease to my patients.
I am from the scenic landscapes of Colorado. My medical odyssey led me to Bethesda, Maryland, where I pursued my education at the Uniformed Services University and earned my MD. For a decade, I dedicated myself to serving the nation as a doctor in the US Air Force — a period that enriched my perspective on healthcare immensely.
My quest for healing took an unconventional turn when I encountered Functional Medicine, as I grappled with a personal diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue. Witnessing its profound impact on my own health, I embarked on deep training in the field and have subtly woven its principles into the tapestry of every clinic I've been part of.
The heart of my mission lies in unraveling the intricate web of chronic diseases — seeking out the roots, uncovering the hidden causes that conventional approaches often overlook. I empathize deeply with those who have felt frustrated within the limitations of traditional medicine. Your journey is my journey.
Because chronic illness doesn't stop at state lines, I'm able to care for patients across the country. I'm currently licensed in:
Beyond medicine, I am a proud mother to three spirited boys (including twins!) and two exuberant huskies. I look forward to partnering with you — not merely as a physician, but as someone who deeply comprehends the intricacies of your situation.
Our Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I'm Alex. Before I found my way to functional medicine, I spent nearly a decade as a family nurse practitioner in plastic surgery and aesthetics. It was good work, but something in me was always pulled toward the deeper questions of health and healing — the ones that don't get answered in a fifteen-minute visit. Alongside my clinical work, I built my life around yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and taking care of my body. I thought I understood wellness.
Then I got sick.
My own battle with mold illness changed everything. I know what it's like to feel unwell in ways no one can explain, and to slowly lose pieces of the life and the self you recognized. I lived it. And in fighting my way back, I discovered something that reshaped my entire path: our physical and emotional bodies are deeply connected, and true healing from mold and chronic illness takes time, patience, and a practitioner who actually walks the road with you.
That experience is what drew me away from aesthetics and toward this work. I left a career focused on how people look to build one focused on how people feel — root causes, whole-person care, and the slow, real work of getting your life back. It's why I'm proud to be part of the My Lyme Doc team, where we start by listening, look for the root causes others have missed, and move at a pace that respects your body and your story.
One of the ways I'm able to expand access to our care is through the states where I'm licensed to practice, so more patients across the country can connect with us from the comfort of home. I'm currently licensed in:
I know firsthand how overwhelming this journey can feel, and how lonely. My goal is to take that weight off your shoulders — to guide you to the answers and the helpful information you need, and to remind you that healing, while daunting, can also be a beautiful process of finding your way back to you.
Outside of the clinic, I've continued the practices that carried me through my own healing — yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and eating well — and I've grown to love a slower, more intentional way of living. You'll find me hiking, traveling, dancing, climbing, spending time with horses and animals, getting lost in astrology, meeting new people, and simply being out in nature. I've also completed training in somatic work and as a ceremonial cacao practitioner, both of which shape the gentle, mind-and-body approach I bring to my patients.
I'm originally from Charleston, South Carolina, and have since made homes in Arizona and Washington. Wherever you are in your journey, I'd be honored to walk it with you.
