Doctors are approved to care for patients state by state. That rule follows where you are during your appointment, even on a video call. It is why the list above is short and specific, and why we ask where you live before your first visit.
It is also a useful test for anyone you are thinking of seeing. If a practice offers to treat your Lyme disease without ever asking what state you are in, that tells you something about how carefully they work. A clear answer to “can you see me where I live?” is a good sign.
Most My Lyme Doc patients are seen by video. Here is an honest picture of what that means.
What works well over video. Chronic Lyme and mold illness are worked out mostly through your history, your symptom pattern, your timeline, what you were exposed to and your lab results. A long conversation and a careful read of your records is most of the work, and none of it needs you in the same room. Lab orders go to a draw site near you. Prescriptions go to your pharmacy.
What video cannot do. A video visit cannot include a hands-on physical exam. If your case needs one, the My Lyme Doc team will tell you and help set it up with a clinician near you.
What you need. A private space, a reliable internet connection, and to be in one of the eleven states above during your appointment.
The initial visit is $300 and runs long on purpose. Most people arriving here have seen roughly twenty specialists and have a stack of test results nobody has read together in one sitting. That review is the first appointment.
After the initial visit, ongoing care runs as an all-inclusive membership between $400 and $1,100 per month depending on the level of support your case needs. There is a full description of how to start on the booking page.

Yes, if you can travel to one of the eleven states at least once a year. Your appointments take place while you are in that state. If travel is not realistic for you, the best step is a Lyme-literate clinician in your own state.
Where you are during your appointment. Plenty of patients were bitten on a trip somewhere else. That history matters for your care, but it does not change where your visits can happen.
No. Colorado patients can be seen by video like everyone else. The Centennial office is there if you prefer to come in.
Let the team know. If you move to another of the eleven states, your care continues without a break. If you move somewhere else, you can keep going as long as you can travel to one of the eleven states at least once a year and have your appointments there.
For this kind of illness, most of the work is your history, your symptom pattern and your lab results. That works well over video. When a physical exam truly matters, the team arranges one near you rather than skipping it.
